I'm back, bitches!

It's been three months and quite a bit has happened since my last post. I graduated from college, got married, and moved to Milwaukee. I strongly recommend all three.

Graduation was a great time, although Vartan Gregorian was pretty weak. Still, on the whole, it was a lot of fun and a great end to four really great years.

Summer passed along fairly uneventfully. Aside from wedding planning and job searching, I didn't do too much. Aside from the fact that I'm a naturally lazy guy, the nine consecutive 110 degree days pretty much sucked out my will to live. FOr that alone, I'm thankful to be in Milwaukee. (And don't give me that dry heat bullshit. I always imagined hell as having a dry heat too.)

Then the wedding came and went. The whole week was actually completely perfect, from playing blackjack at one in the morning with our Afghani dealer Ramin to a great mass and a really fun reception. The pictures are online at trentblackphoto.com. To view them, click on See Images, then on the image of Lauren and me and finally enter the password: rparsons. (For those that weren't there, the pictures where Lauren looks incredibly uncomfortable are when I played the role of "dying fish" as I pulled off her garter.)

A few (awesome ;-)) days later, we headed here to Milwaukee, where our lives have been full of boxes and shopping. For those of you planning on getting married, I strongly suggest registering at Target. The gift cards alone make it worth it. Not too much else to report, I'm waiting for a guy to come back from vacation to talk about a permanent job; in the meantime, I'm doing clerical work for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Econ department.

Now that you're caught up on my life, I can get back to our regularly scheduled programming of uninspired commentary and shallow, fairly obvious observations. Holla back.
